Fruite Yogurt Pops in Kinderville Molds

We’ve found a new favorite for hot Summer days!  The Little Bites Silicone Ice Pop Molds by Kinderville make creating healthy, homemade, toxin-free popsicles a cinch.  The only thing that goes into your kiddo’s treat are the fresh ingredients you choose.  They’re a great alternative to store bought popsicles that are often loaded with sugar, dyes and unwanted chemicals.

Ingredients:

16 oz. organic whole milk vanilla yogurt (also known as cream top)

1 cup of ripe fruit

2 Tbsp. local honey

Fruit variations: Any fruits used alone or your favorite combinations work perfectly in these popsicles.  Some of my favorites are: Strawberry/ Banana or Raspberry /Blueberry

Directions:

  1. Prepare fruit:  wash, remove all inedible parts, cut into large pieces (if applicable)
  2. Place all ingredients in blender- Blend till smooth
  3. Pour into popsicle molds- I use my Kinderville Popsicle Molds which are great for small children
  4. Freeze

We also use fresh squeezed organic fruit and/or veggie juices for our popsicles.  It turns out that my kids will actually eat a grapefruit popsicle made with a dash of lemon juice and sweetened with a little Stevia, even though they don’t care for grapefruit in general.  Hmmm, who’d of thought?

Thanks for the recipe! My newest trick is to buy organic blended juices at the grocery store (the kind that include vegetable juices or spinach powders) and freeze those up. Yesterday I made ice pops from RW Knudsens Organic Orange Carrot juice… no one was the wiser!
